No SpriteBatch in the cold and the dark

I thought I was done writing about SpriteBatch, but then Ultrahead asked for some examples of interesting things that can be done with custom renderstates, and I realized I do have more to say about that.

On Thursday night, just as I was about to start typing up the most awesome article ever, an even more awesome storm hit Seattle. Enough wind to tear up my neighbour's new fence. Enough rain to drench my basement, requiring emergency measures to prop up various belongings out of the floodwater. Enough fallen trees to destroy every power line for miles around.

Without electricity there can be no computers, and without computers there can be no blog posts.

Three days later I finally have my power back, but I'm heading back to England tomorrow for the holidays, so this blog will remain cold and silent for the next couple of weeks.

Happy holidays to you all!

I'll be back...
